The Norway Mountain Ski Patrol is a member of the National Ski Patrol System, approximately 28,000 volunteer and professional members who meet basic training requirements and complete annual training—including Outdoor Emergency Care, Professional-Rescuer CPR—and demonstrate either skiing or snowboarding proficiency and toboggan handling.

Norway Mountain Ski Patrol membership is open to females or males 15 years or older. You must complete the Outdoor Emergency Care course of 80 to 100 hours or you may challenge the course if you have the following Qualifications: current license in medicine (MD DO or Nursing) or current certification as EMT or Paramedic.
